In a 70sqm room all made of black theater curtains, a series of diverging situations are constructed and deconstructed. Objects are carried in the room across the curtains, others are being removed. Some will be used and others are only placed in the space. During the whole length of the piece, the contents of the closed space will be permanently exchanged and re-arranged. In a continuous transformation flux, changing social conditions are being established, out of which the characteristics of familiar situations can be identified. Triggered by the ongoing action of the performers, the audience find itself attributing always new functions upon the empty black box. Bühnenstück sequentially serves as a waiting room, a concert hall, a café, a cinema, an auditorium, a playground, a museum, a workshop, a construction site, a conference, a theatre.
